Staff Accountant

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Staff Accountant at our Headquarters location in Warren, OH.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements and bank reconciliations
• Drive month- and year-end closes
• Maintain the general ledger
• Ensure financial alignment with business goals
• Work closely with various functional groups to ensure reporting, system and control requirements are met
• Provide insightful and dependable financial information to senior management to facilitate decision-making

Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• A proven initiator, innovator and influencer who can drive change, improve processes, and provide sound solutions to complex and routine business issues
• Possess analytical, communication, interpersonal, and strategic and tactical planning skills
