Business Communications Specialist

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to immediately hire to fill the role of Business Communications Specialist at our Headquarters Offices in Warren, OH.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Represent AVI through written communications, proposals, presentations, and other client deliverables
• Develop proposals for field-based team members to present to prospective and current clients
• Interpret financial data from vending assessments or business plan reviews for inclusion into proposals
• Customize proposals based on information received from Project Leader
• Prioritize workload and schedule based on customer-driven deadlines
• Assist in the creation of PowerPoint presentations
• Proof-read other Business Communications team members’ proposals
• Write customized communications and messages based on unique client services and/or financial arrangements
• Collaborate with Business Communications team to customize proposals with graphics and images
• Create customized layouts and designs as various project necessitates
• Package print and digital proposals and ship/email to project leaders
• Monitor and create customer satisfaction surveys per field requests
• Support other departments with printing, writing and editing projects

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, Public Relations or related field
• Experience in Microsoft Office and PC platforms
• Experience using Marketing tools such as Survey Monkey, CMS, Project Management Systems is a plus
• Experience in design software such as Adobe InDesign, Figma, and/or Canva is a plus
• Positive attitude, desire and passion to be a part of a winning team
• Demonstrated ability to understand technical concepts and write about them clearly and concisely
• Ability to analyze and interpret information to develop recommendations
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written skills; intense listening skills
• Successful management of complex projects
• Proactive, detail-oriented and accurate
• Possess the ability to multi-task and switch projects/priorities quickly
• Assertive and steadfast when establishing deadlines for field personnel to submit proposal information
• Effective time management
