Concessions Supervisor in Gates Mills, OH at AVI Foodsystems, Inc Employee Network

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic leader to immediately hire to fill the role of Full-time Concessions Supervisor at the prestigious Gilmour Academy in Gates Mills, OH. This position will work a variety of shifts based on the Concessions Schedule.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Understand menu offerings, presentation, and pricing
• Ensure products are displayed and merchandised appropriately; assist with maintaining service areas
• Follow proper guest service procedures whenever interacting with others by smiling, making eye contact, announcing self and greeting guests as they enter the event
• Ensure proper product control, handling of inventory and equipment, and follow food safety/sanitation guidelines
• Meet and maintain budget goals
• Communicate effectively in both written and verbal form with clients and support staff
• Ensure that all equipment is clean and professional in appearance at all times

• Minimum of 2-3 years of operational supervisory experience in the concessions industry or related field
• Flexible schedule based on the needs of the venue
• Ability to plan, organize, and direct the work of others
• Ability to organize tasks and work independently
• Budgeting experience with a focus on financial accountability
• Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience leading, motivating and developing teams
